Well yes, there's a difference, but probably not worth the cost and if you don't spend at least ~$200 you'll risk getting a monitor with worse colors than what you have now. But it's your choice.
OLED is a form of backlight that's going to start being used in new monitors, which offers more stable edge lighting, darker blacks, and more vibrant colors.
