90nm Athlon64 benchmarks at Anandtech

They managed to overclock 1.8 GHz 3000+ beyond 2.6 GHz. That's ~45% overclock!

I have to say that for someone who just dropped almost a weeks wages on a s754 board, and a 3200+, this is not great news. It does look good for Amd.

i found something pretty funy that they said there too. Anadtech stated taht they saw an average of a 3% increase clock for clock in performance.

I seem to remember someone here 'upset' that the performance boost some predicted wasnt there. Well here it is, like it matters much anyway, but the numbers dont lie.

i didnt say pr numbers did i?

i said clock to clock. 2ghz versus 2ghz, whihc is what they are talking about. so it does shwo 90nm chips are marginally faster then s754 130nm. thats indisputable.
