[SOLVED] 91 degrees celsius !!?! Ryzen 5 3600

I just bought a new motherboard (msi tomahawk Max), a cpu (Ryzen 5 3600) and ram. I've played few games in COD MW and my cpu temp in HWMonitor are 91 degrees Celsius. I've got the stock cooler mounted.

Is this okay or should I be worried? What can I do to lower the temp?

my idle temp is now between 49 and 72 degrees celcius.


My build is:
Ryzen 5 3600 (stock cooler)
Msi tomahawm max b450
16 GB RAM DDR4
GTX 1070
Case : Corsair 460x

I would say that's quite high for the processor.

Are you running the latest bios update? How did you install the processor? Have you overclocked at all?

Yes I updated the BOIS to the latest version and no I've not overclocked it.
I installed the processor like you would normally (I think)... Could it be that I've tightened to screws in the cooler a bit too much ??
I did use "XMP" for my ram to reach 3600mhz.

Sorry.. I'm not quite sure what that is. Should I turn it off (if it is on)? and can I do that in the BIOS?
