9100 - Best Drivers?

Hi folks,

Just wondering everyone's opinion/advice: What's the best Catalyst drivers
to use with a Radeon 9100?
(This card is really made by Sapphire, not ATi itself.) It's 128MB, 4xAGP on
XP Pro PC with 1 GB DDR RAM.

I have the exact same card and find v4.2 to be the best. I'm a big fan of
Thief 3 which will not run with earlier Catalyst versions. The latest
Catalysts cause stuttering menu screens within the game.

The 3.7's work the best with the 8500 family....but as was pointed out, some
newer games will not run with these.

Yup, I think that's what I started out with too. As you said, some newer
games made me try newer Cats, but I eventually went back to 4.3 which seems
to be stable on my system so far...
