950 pro m.2 slow boot time

So I have got the 950 pro but it takes longer to boot to desktop then I expected. 40-50 sec. This leaves me to believe something is not exactly right. All I did was insert it into the m.2 slot, boot up windows CD, format and install within the windows installer. Any help is appreciated.

Are there other drives connected to the SATA ports?

folks that didn't install the samsung nvme driver have reported slow 950s

did you install samsung's driver or using the windows native nvme driver?
