950 pro speed

I have a couple 950 pros in my notebook. At first, they were getting over 2500mbps random read. I encrypted them using bitlocker and the speeds were then ~1100 mbps. So I decrypted them and the speeds are now 900-1100mbps. Why would they be so much slower? I bought them about a week ago, do they lose that much speed after you fill them up? By the way, I have tested this on Samsung magician and crystalDisk Mark. Both reporting similar results

EDIT: I should probably also mention that I have the Z170 Chipset and a 6700kCPU and both m.2 slots the 950 pros are in are PCIE 3.0 x4 so they should be getting maximum speeds

are they running in rapid mode to get 2500mbs as its possible you changing the encryption turned the fast mode off, look in magician

Rapid Mode is not supported on the 950 Pro. I was getting greater than 2500mbps when I first installed Windows now it is degrading fast, it is not around 550mbps as of now
