Hi,

Recently i have been running assassin creed 1 when my graphic card broke. It was only 3 years old.My specs are:

BIOS: BIOS Date: 01/28/10 20:01:22 Ver: 08.00.14
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E7500 @ 2.93GHz (2 CPUs)
Memory: 990MB RAM
Page File: 559MB used, 1874MB available.

My graphic card was xfx 9500 gt with 512mb memory and ram is 1gb.

Which graphic card should i buy with the budget between 100$-250$

That's a huge price range for a video card.
You can get a GeForce GT 440 (Fermi) 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 for around $100 which is a pretty big step up from your 9500 512 Mb and only uses a single wide slot and doesn't require any extra power plugs.
At the high end is something like this: GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 in the $250 range which requires a 500 W power suooly and 2 6pin power plugs.
Not knowing what motherboard and power supply you have, I'm guessing the $100 GT 440 would be entirely adequate.

Ha Emma.
I never heard of a slech psu, and got no hits on google. Maybe when you tell us the manufacturer and the model of the pc you use ?
Really difficult to tell then what card is ok for you. Did you open the case and look at the side of the psu ?
Otherwise it will be only safe to reccomend something like a GT440 or a HD6670.
Good luck with the bad luck you have btw.
