The 9400GT 1GB DDR2 vs 9500GT 1GB DDR2
How many FPS could the 9500GT outpace the 9400GT by? (An average in most games)

And 256/512 DDR3 vs 1GB DDR2. How many more FPS by the DDR3 version in a fairly high resolution?

Thanks

Solution
The HD3850 is better than the HD4650 but it also uses a lot more power and requires a 6-pin PCI-E power cable. On par with the HD3850 is the HD4670 and your PSU can probably handle that card if you can afford it.

OK. I have a 17', and I guess a 9500GT 256MB DDR3 is better, but I want a card that will last for at least 2 years, because new games will want more video ram, so I was thinking 1GB DDR2. So what should I do? The 512MB DDR3 is too much for me to afford.

The 4650 uses nearly the same amount of power as the 9400GT and 9500GT, they all have TDP's of about 50W.

Uh..sorry for the double post, thanks for the advice, the ddr3 version of the 4650 is much cheaper than ddr3 version of the 9500gt.
Is the Is a 512mb ddr3 4650 really better than a 512mb ddr3 9500GT, because, I mean a difference in price should say a lot to someone when looking for quality.

Yes, the HD 4650 is better than the 9500GT, ATI just delivers more bang for the buck (as always), the build quality is the same, so all that matters are the benchmarks and they say the 4650 is better.
