Hey,
Quick question here. I have been through 2 PSU's already. A no-name 500W and a SeaSonic 550W. Basically the SeaSonic does not boot up the system (it was second hand) so I put it out of it's missery. I have now found a PSU at an amazing price, I live in Romania. The PSU is the MS-Tech 950W.
These are my system's specs:
i7 4790k (Liquid Cooled)
Asus Hero 6 MOBO
GTX 970 Zotac (I AM BUYING THE PSU TO OC THE GPU)
8GB Ram
These are the PSU's specs:
+3.3 V 16A
+5 V 20A
+12 V1 32.7A
+12 V2 32.7A
+5 VSB 2A
-12 V 0.5A
Now the system needs 380W at factory settings. Please do not tell me that a Corsair 600W would be better, I know that but it's completely out of my budget. The question that I have is: can I OVERCLOCK the GPU (only, am not interested in the CPU) with the MS-Tech 950W PSU?
Thank you please respond as fast as you can!
Thanks!
