954 vs unlocked 555 or 550

Which has more potential, the unlocked 550 or the 945. What is a good board for either one if i am getting a discrete graphics card. I know that unlcoking the 550 is not a sure thing but it seems pretty succesful. How stable are the two unlocked cores. It is really tempting at the price point if everything works.

I just bought installed and overclocked the 550. The third and fourth cores unlocked for me. It is a bit of a gamble but is a great deal nonetheless if it works out. For $90.99 on Newegg you really can't go wrong.

how will that perform against a 945. will it bassicaly be a 950 equivalent.
