Hi i am looking for a heatsink for my Phenom II 955 BE and really cant decide.
Ive checked out frostytech and have found sum useful information but i still cant decide. does anyone have any reccomendations for a good cooler? thanks
P.S. i will be ocing a bit and my budget for the heatsink is 40-45(lower the better)

First try with 1.44V and was unstable. So, in this moment i have 1.48V and x19 in the multiplier. I think that is 'cause my mobo is socket AM2/AM2+, in the benchmark of the 955 with an ASUS mobo, is stable at 3.8GHz with 1.44V.

I thinking in change my mobo, is a good mobo. But the temps with 3.8GHz are 51-53 ºC. And my RAM is DDR2, but, also, is a good, good...good RAM.

My suggestion would be the Hyper 212+ :

I puchased one not to long ago and for the price it is unbeatable [:jaydeejohn:5]

I second this. I have the Hyper 212+ on my 955, and it's an excellent cooler for the price. It also includes clips for a second fan, so for about 40 bucks, you can grab the heatsink, and fan, and have yourself a cooler that rivals those that are much more expensive.

I just got my Hyper 212 Plus, it's a great cooler for the money. I have...most of the big air coolers.
