955 BE Overheated, Could there be damage?

Hello,
For somereason, I believe software based, my fan on my cpu stopped. I didnt notice till my wife said that the computer was running slow. My CPU was at 93 degrees celcius. Im not sure how long it was at that temp but it has me worried now. The comp is up and running fine now and passes benchmarks but could there be damage I can't see right now?

You might of shortened the life of the CPU a little bit but you will still most likely upgrade long before the CPU wears out. Just be more careful and make sure all the fans are working properly. All will be fine.

You can always Prime 95 it to see how it handles stress loads for the next few days.
I dont know if thats what you meant when you said it passes benchmarks.
If you did then disreguard my post.
SAAIELLO is right though. Heat and electronics, thats the nature of the beast and will degrade.
