I am using speccy to check CPU temps. It shows 95-115 but when i feel around the laptop its not that hot just a little warm. Do you think it might not be correct? The fan is sorta on the louder side (This is just on desktop with no load)

Solution

if you see that kind of usage jump when opening internet browse , then it is due to throttling due to overheating

and as i said idle temps at 54 is too much.

1.try opening your laptop and clean the dust if any

2. try replacing...
just right click on the graphs and go to properties. then add you cpu temps(just any ine would do)

and the GPU temperature is good , if it is under mild gaming condtion, for idle it is too high

1. what is your ambient temp?
2. generally cpu temp is a bit higher than gpu temps in most cases

This is just on desktop with nothing running. Installing amd overdrive to check

The msi only lets me see cpu usage wich spikes from 5-60 just with speccy and msi open and jumps over 100 when opening the internet browser. On amd afterburner I see on thermal margin temps which is 22.
