Recently I overclocked my i7 4790k to 4.6 GHz with a 1.300 voltage. Using Prime95 Small FFTs I am getting temperatures up to 95 C. Is this normal under 100% load? Cooler is a Corsair H110.
Judging by the hundreds of other commenters I've spoken with recently, that kind of temperature is to be expected running Prime95 on the new 4970K's. I wouldn't keep pushing it at those temps though to be honest, so you may want to back off the overlcock to 4.4 or 4.5 so you can knock the voltages down a bit. That'll bring the temps back in line with something that doesn't resemble a frying pan
my 1.224v 4.7Ghz gets to 92C after 1hour on prime95, it's very normal.
Though BF4 multiplayer on ultra tops out at 57C with a NH-D15 not even at full speeds
Try running the beefiest game you have and measure temps, if it's below 80C.... keep that OC =)
Just don't try Intel Burn Test (IBT) with that oc lol

Exactly this. The temps you get when doing tests like this are way above what you'll get when gaming, even under the most stressful conditions.
