I have a handful of kits for sale with the new v2.51 code that added
Super Pac. It runs slightly smaller than full size, but run it does!
They are ready to ship today via Priority Mail.

I'm out of $10 ribbon cables at the moment, so I'll just offer the kits
at a $10 reduced price- $135 including quick shipping and tracking via
Priority Mail.

My kit installs by plugging it into 5E and the processor socket using a
ribbon cable.

There are onscreen configuration menus so you can configure it for an
upright or cocktail.

I'll also mention that we're constantly updating the code and games and
always provide these updates for free via email so you're kit won't get
out dated. If you don't have access to a chip programmer, I also offer
updates for $8 per chip which includes USPS Priority Mail or $15 is
USPS Global Priority Mail is needed instead for international shipments
and the tested and programmed chip (which is at cost).

The Multi-Pac is easy to install and comes with an illustrated manual
to guide you through each step. Installation takes about 10 to 15
minutes and consist of: 1. Removing six chips from the sockets they're
plugged into. 2. Plugging the Multi-Pac into one socket and plugging a
ribbon cable into another socket. 3. Switching the small dip switches
to "off".

The rest of the set-up is just a matter of using the joystick and
player 1 and player 2 buttons to set up the games using the onscreen
menus.

I need to update my website to include the new titles added in the past
6 months, but the pictures are nice to look at:

Once it's plugged into your original game board everything is
configured (freeplay, speed, number of lives, difficulty, bonus level,
ect) via onscreen menus using the joystick and player 1 & 2 buttons.
The settings and high scores are saved even when unplugged in nvRAM
that's rated for a 99 year life.

Don't hesitate to email any other questions you might have.

Best regards,
Mike Doyle

I should add, only Super Pac is displayed in the smaller size,
everything else is normal in appearance. Super Pac is reduced by
roughly 25% in overall size.

Is the rom image available to those who already bought the kit and burn
the update them selves?

Of course, there's never any charge for a software upgrade as long as it's
written by me.

btw. http://members.tripod.com/~d_widel/games/superpac.htm Some
screenshots of the superpac hack. You can see how I had to scale everything
down to get it to fit and still use the original maze.

Pacman hardware can only do 16x16 sprites.

That's one reason, the other is there's more tiles width on superpac. In
order to get all the tiles I had to scale and I went with 2 tiles for every
3. Which worked out pretty well for solving both problems, although it
left some goofy looking space at the top.

I haven't thought of a way of doing jr. It doesn't fit on one screen even
scaled. I can't just jump to a new screen, because there's not enough ram
to work with.
