960 EVO m.2 ssd not detected

Hey, just put together a new computer, neither bios or the windows installer is detecting my 960 Evo SSD, and Im at a bit of a loss as to what the problem is. I have the ssd installed into the m.2_1 socket on an Asus Prime Z370-A motherboard with the Sata6g_1 slot unused. As far as I can tell this is correct and I have not found anything in bios to solve whatever the problem may be so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yep trying to install windows 10 pro onto it.
