960 evo, or 860 evo?

Looking for an ssd for my gaming pc. The things I do on it are: video editing, 3d modeling and game design, and gaming.
Should I go with the 960 evo which is m.2 based and supposed to be super fast? Or would I see barely any difference with the 860 evo which is SATA?
I'd obviously like to save money but if the 960 evo will make my pc drastically faster than the 860 then it might be worth it?

For a gaming system, barely any difference at all.
Yes, the 960 is "faster". But not drastically so in that use case. Not enough to warrant the 2x price per GB.
