960 sli or 1060?

Quick question. 2 x Gtx 960 4GB SLI or 1 x gtx 1060 6GB?

1 x GTX 1060 6GB ...960's will only be supported depending on the game. Better overall performance is the 1060.

1060 for sure. SLI only works in a few games...

Two GTX960 is basically a GTX980. GTX1060 6GB is a very close match for a GTX980 and it has some newer features.

So same or better performance in most applications and it uses less power. More effective VRAM too.

I would pick the 1060 alone, lower power needed to operate, newer tech and, as other saids, not all games benefit from SLI.

buying a second 960 costs about 200$
in most cases 960 sli (if supported by the game) loses to 1060 6gb
