It all depends on game optimisation. Some games the 960 will be better, most games the 280 will be better. It turns out yes, in Witcher the 960 is better, but only by a maximum of 4fps...The 280 is the superior option. Aim for the 280X ideally.

k thx btw will a Phenom II X4 975+ 3.6 Ghz bottleneck the 280?
