9600 Pro and KT600

This might be old news for some of you, and yes I've tried to search the board, but I wonder as I've heard that the Radeon 9600 Pro is incompatible with KT600?
I got this mainboard:
MSI KT6 DELTA-LSR Socket A KT600, SATA, ATA133, ATX, LAN, LYD, Raid.

Question two, if the above answer is yes it is not compatible I am contemplating buying either a 9800XT 256mb or a FX5950 256mb, both are about the same price where I live the 9800XT just 25$ more. As I've had a lot of problems with my 9600 card I am kinda fed up with ATI (their online help is a war of attrition with automated email replies on top of eachother), but if the 9800XT card is compatible with my mainboard it should be no problem. Any help is apreciated.

My friend who games every day has that combination with an Athlon 1.33 (!) and it seems to work well.
My powercolor 9600pro (not EZ) has been pretty good to me since ATI fixed the crashing issues with NWN. 🙂

Thing is I already got the 9600 Pro card and it does not sit well with my KT600 card. I have tried it on other non-kt600 pcs and it works nicely and then tried it on two other kt600 pcs and it is acting up a lot again. just want it confirmed or denied by others 🙂
