Exams are up........time to burn some of my fathers
hard earned money :p

i ve decided to go for a 9600 pro,
theres only one problem......i dunno which brand to
go for.....??

there are gigacube,sapphire,hercules,powercolour.!!!
n what is a OEM thingy they have attached to their
names?

help me out guys.....before my dad changes his mind :p

For the R9600Pro the Hercules and ATI cards overclock the best. The Sapphire can be good, but also can be bad, if you get a Sapphire Atlantis FIREBLADE edition then it is a good card. The Connect 3D card isn't a bad card, it's actually pretty good, but the memory is slightly worse than the Hercules, BBA and Sapphire Fireblade cards. They use 2.8ns Hynix or Infineon memory which overclocks rather poorly compared to the 2.86ns Samsung memory. However it will still be better than the 3.0 and 3.3ns memory that is found on many cards.
Avoid GigaCube/GeCube and Powercolor, memory issues, build issues, and support issues.

Then again that's just my view on it, and that's speaking as a satisfued BBA R9600P owner since week 1.
