Hello

Have some problems with my build.

Some weeks ago my computer frooze and when trying to reboot nothing happen, After some trouble shooting i figure the Mobo was the fault. was a Saberthoot 990FX r2.0.
So ended up buying a new mobo, and in the same way a new GPU, this time a 970 Gaming/Aura,
Installed all parts and computer started and i was back to gaming. a week later in the morning i started the computer and nothing happened, all i could see is a led light lit in red as far i understand the manual red light is the CPU, i can see 4 leds on the MOBO and it is the top one of the four that is lit red. so decided i buy a new CPU. just go that new one and plugged it in, and still the same Led light is lit red.

Now i am just stumped in what this can be. Tried to boot with one mem in different places but same led is lit
There is no bent pins on either of my CPU´s
can`t figure out what the problem is.

ANy help appriciated

MOBO: ASUS 970 ProGaming/Aura
CPU: AMD FX 6350
RAM: 2x8GB DDR3 Ripjaws
GPU: Sapphire RX-580 8GB
PSU: Templarius 750w

Thanks

Have removed all HD´s and usb connections
Still that top led is lit red.
Sound i get is one single beep, short i would say it is and according to asus a short beep is no keyb found.

Also tried to boot up without mem and GPU, each time the correct led was lit red for the correspondent led light. so i am sure the top one is boot device related .

But still after all this i get no picture on on the monitor, no signal.

the GPU is new and feel it can not be that one..

I just got this MB and have the same problem. First time i started, all fans spin, but the top red led is lit. The manual says red led for CPU, white, orange, etc for ram,vga and so on. A bit confusing. Is it the color codes or the lights glowing near the font on MB.

As it turned out for me was that the new RX-580 seemed to have broke after the few days of it running. Had the computer in for troubleshooting in a local computer store.

Now i am running on my old graphic card till i get the other one changed for a new one.

Dont know if it is related to the PSU or i just had bad luck.

The top red as i can see on the 970 ProGaming Motherboard is for the Boot device failure.
The light is glowing bright red
