Hello,
I have the Gigabyte G1 970 graphics card. I also have an i5 3570K and 8GB of RAM.
My graphics card is overclocked to 1853mhz on memory and 1479mhz on the core.
When I run the firestrike 3D Mark benchmark I only get a graphics score of 9132. This is worrying me as those who are running similar overclocks have been getting results close to 14000 with a 2500k
Have I done something wrong? The overclock is stable and temps never go above 55 degrees.

Any Advice?
Thanks

Solution
Lose the over clock & retest & post your fire strike score.
All the 970's can be somewhat tempremental when over clocked - its that schonky tdp limit nvidia have locked into the chipset causing problems.
I get a worse valley benchmark score overclocked than I do at stock!!
Upping the memory clock too much can throttle the whole card

Thanks for the reply, I will just test it now

It's just all of the results I have seen are listed as 970(x1) which suggests to me that there is only one 970 in the system?
Thanks for the reply

Okay thanks, I'm going to run the benchmark once more to double check

EDIT: I'm still at around 9000 but I'm happy with that if that's a typical score
