970 or Ps4?

Trying to decide between upgrading to a 970 or getting a ps4 until 4k tvs and gaming starts to become mainstream.

Current PC has a 2500k, 560ti and 8gb ram, no ssd.

Mostly use my pc for iRacing and csgo, which I can run alright. Considering the upgrade to a 970 in preparation for Gta 5, Witcher 3, the division (not many other games interest me atm).

But then again I am wondering if it would even be worth the upgrade to a 970 for maybe 2 years when I could get a ps4 for the same money and still enjoy the same games at decent quality.

You will have a better experience gaming with the GTX 970 than with a PS4.

Hello Menco.

4K gaming requires alot of power when it comes to Withcer. I dont think CS:GO and iRacing need to much of power. But 970 would be a good deal for games like GTA 5, Witcher 3 and the divison. Alot of people recommend 2 graphic cards when it comes to high resolution gaming.
