970 Pro NVMe SSD

1. How do I know if my motherboard (HP Sunflower AM4 Socket) supports NVMe SSD? I want to install Samsung 970 Pro to my HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop 690-0034 (Specs: Ryzen 7 2700, RX 580 4GB, and 16GB RAM). There's only 1 M.2 slot, occupied by the HP-provided SSD.

2. Assuming that my motherboard is compatible with NVMe SSD, how do I clone my Windows 10 system to the new NVMe SSD? I am going to use Samsung Data Migration software, but like I said, there's only one M.2 slot.

1. That system supports NVMe SSD
2. Plug a USB flash drive or hard drive in to computer. Run Samsung Data Migration tool, put image on USB drive, install new M.2 ssd, deploy image using Samsung program.

1. Why a 970 Pro, instead of a 970 EVO, or a SATA III SSD?

2. What make/model drive is in it now?

3. How long have you had this? A clean install might be a better option, vs cloning it.
