Hello.
This might have been asked before, but im just going to leave this here.
I currently own a 780GTX and im thinking of selling my 780 and go for 970 sli or single 980.
The 780 is currently missing the 2.0HDMI so im not getting my 60frames, so getting 780sli is not something i really want unless they release a DP to HDMI 2.0.

I currently run 3x monitors, 2x 1080p and 1x 4k.

I currently have a Corsair 750w gold PSU so i think this will be enough?

Sound is also something in small consideration as i dont want my room to sound like a hoover running 24/7, but this shouldnt be a problem as they are not doing any load when not gaming?

As i have understood 970 SLI will give me an upperhand when it comes to high resolutions and multi monitor's, and this is good for me.

In my country 970SLI will cost 837$ while 980gtx 697$(currency is messed up because of oil prices...) is it worth the difference?

Depends on the rest of your setup, but if your rig already supports SLI and your PSU is both good and have enough wattage to supply 2 970's, that's what I'd pick.

I am biased against 980, because comparing to 970, it's price to performance ratio is horrendous (to the point where I'd probably expect 980ti to be better price to performance ratio).

I have a motherboard that supports SLI and CPU is i7 3770k (4,7ghz oc) which i never manage to max out.
so i feel that my 780 is holding my frames back and getting some "graphics bugs" because i am trying to force 60fps 4k through hdmi 1.4

But i see your suggestion as the 970 is nearly half the price of 980.
And for my setup im going to need the extra power for my monitors.
I think i might try and get my 780 sold and go for 2x 970.
