970 SLI power supply

Hello, im gonna build a PC with 2 970s in SLI, and i wondered if this powersupply will work with my 2 970s in SLI. I dont plan on overclocking them.

Do you already have one or both of the 970s?

SLI support is dwindling, you're usually better off getting the single best card within your budget.

I would highly recommend against sli these days. Barely any games support it. The few that do have a mixed bag of performance gains, issues and sometimes even negative performance impact. In 98% of games the second card will just be sitting there doing nothing but wasting power. Getting a single stronger card would be highly recommended.

Already have the 2 970s, because i bought them pretty cheap from a friend of mine. I might sell both and buy a 1070 or something else.

Selling both would be a good idea. Since the second card will just not do anything most of the time anyways and having to disable it to make sure games that don't launch when sli is on is quite a pain.

But still, i kinda want them because they look very nice but i also want more performance. For me its kinda hard to choose between those two options. 😛
