Can I SLI these evga 970 ssc if the part numbers are slightly different both are acx 2.0 and the ssc. Just ones part number is newer 04G-P4-3975-KR and the other is 04G-P4-2975-KR? And will my corsair 950w tx be enough? Running as rock z77 extreme 4 i7 3770k 4.2ghz 16gb 1866mhz ram? Worth the 970 sli?

Solution
You can SLI them as long as they have the same model (they are both GTX 970s) and as long as they have the same amount of VRAM. AS for the PSU, 950W is plenty for 970 SLI. I would say that it will be worthit for the 970 SLI. Other people might say its bad, but it isnt, it wll theoreticaly give you nearly a double performance boost. Enjoy! :)

Solution
SLI/XFire is usually bad due to issues like micro stutters and you will get max 30-40% fps boost.
That is why people, including me, hate SLI.

The nVidia GPUs based on Maxwell are fortunately running really good on SLI, unlike the previous GPUs.
GTX970, GTX980, etc. are running 80% faster (means, almost double) on SLI adn I see until now about 0 issues.
Several friends of mine did it already.
I am planing to get a second GTX970 for me after seeing relative good news from GTX970s on SLI.
