So my current PC is prebuilt so i dont exactly know the brand of my psu or gpu. My psu is 500w and my gpu is gtx 970. As far as i know gtx 1060 is supposed to use less power than gtx 970. The gtx 1060 i am planning to get needs a 6 pin connector. My current gtx 970 seems to have some weird 6 pin connector where another 6 pin connector comes out from so it is basicly a 2x6 pin. My question is am i okay to just use one of those 6 pin cables on my 1060 and leave the other one hanging?

I have no idea. It doesn't say it anywhere and seems kind of bad in quality too. But as far as i know it is supposed to be 500w. That is also the minimum requirement for 1070 and i don't want to risk using such a bad quality one if i decide to buy gtx 1070.
