Question 970 user looking for the next upgrade!

Hey everyone, I've been using the 970 since it was released which has served me well but I'm finally looking to get something more up to date there just seems to be so many options and I'm looking for the best value one for my needs!

Here's my rig;
MB: B450 tomahawk MAX
GPU: Gtx 970 Strix
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 3600 MHZ x 16GB
Storage: Samsung NVMe SSD

I'm mainly focused on World of Warcraft WOTLK and would like to get a better monitor to play @1440p at a higher refresh rate than my current 60fps so I'm going to buy the GPU first and get the monitor later due to cash flow.

I think I heard AMD/Nvidia released new GPUs recently so figured it'd be a decent time to buy some of their older tech.

My budget for a GPU is £300-350

Any advice greatly appreciated!

Oh, totally don't mind Nvidia OR AMD just want the most bang for buck!
