9700 PRO AiW stability

I just built a new system:
2700+ athlonXP
9700Pro AiW
512 DDR dual channel 256MB Geil CAS2 ram
Asus A7N8X
450watt psu
Windows XP pro
and in 3d games, it crashes often, and most often it is the 9700pro that is the cause, eg UT2k3 will say failed render bla bla, goes down some render path to the node that failed, it varies. Anyone have any ideas on the reason for it crashing so much?

NOTE: I have the newest asus bios, newest catalyst, and all xp updates.

also, I am not sure if this is related, but sometimes it will just randomly restart, and I have loaded fresh installs of the OS to see if I had gotten a virus or something, still the same. My other system never had any problems, GF4, XP2100+, and I am just lost in finding out why this one is so unstable.

DDR II, it's not even out, tho i have already seen a ddr533 module but still DDRI. I think it's Geil DDR533.

aight, just getting sloppy, it is dual channel ddr, its geil 3200 CAS2 ram, but enough about burning me b/c I get lazy at 2 in the morn, any ideas on the problem?
