it says it can be a pro in bios or something? how will this work exactly ? even if i dont overclock it, will it be better than a GeForce FX5900se/xt at stock speeds ? and then if its at Pro levels would it be better than the 5900se/xt overclocked to ultra levels ?
also how much is this card worth ? its currently at £80 (about 150usd i think)whats the max amount i should offer ?

any help/advice would be great, cheers

Well, while a RAD-ion may sound cool you should probably get a Radeon card. Watch out this may be like my SORNY DVD player that plays everything Backwards, or those Orkley Sunglasses I had that actually magnify the sun's rays and caused my partial blindness in my third eye (with the occasional milky discharge  )!

If it's actually a Typo and a Radeon, then it's not a bad deal. Relatively inexpensive frm what I've seen of UK prices listed here, but better if another Chip-Chomper could tell you for sure. In Canada that would be a mediocre deal (about $200), but I know you guys have different price levels to deal with.
The fact that someone listed that they slapped a PRO Bios on there is nice (you would have been able to tell if you check part numbers, but who does that? Just ask Wusy! Ding-Dong!)

And yes under most conditions an R9700 will outperform and FX5900SE/XT/LX/EPV/ETC. and an R9700Pro level OC will outperform an FX5900 non-ultra, and tie (and occasional outperform/and lose) with an FX5900U level OC(whihc I would be surprised if the FX5900SE/XT/... would reach without serious cooling that in turn would likely let the R9700 reach R9800PRO levels.

That's my two frames worth.

lol, yeah, i noticed that as well.
anyways, i got outbid ! the cheeky ah heck placed his bid in the last closing seconds !

so now, i may go for a FX5900lx version, theres a Pixelview FX5900 for £130 somewhere ... or gamble and get a Hercules R9800se and hope it would softmod
i guess anything will be a vast improvement to a GeForce 2mx !! its got to a point where i feel to smash this card up and pee allover it.

I think it's a little spooky that someone flashed it's bios....I'm not a big fan of those type of mods. Most dont work out very well, and cause overheating/artifacting, even if the guy who did the mod doesnt notice. I would flash it back with it's original bios.
