Greetings everyone,

As I'm willing to upgrade my graphic card to 970GTX, my only problem is the PSU, it is -5 year old- Gigabyte ODIN Pro 550w :

1st: will the PSU handle the 970GTX?

2nd: there is 2 PCI-E 6pin for SLi on the PSU (blue & grean connectors) can I use them for one card?

& I'm not wiling to overclock any of my rig.

thanks.

Depends on the rest of your hardware and how confident you are that your PSU won't die of old age (they seldom do, if treated right). TDP for a single GTX 970 is only 145W, so assuming you don't have 6+ drives your PSU should have no trouble with it.
If it was me, I'd replace it - no sense risking damage to a $300 card when you can pick up a new PSU of the same size for under $50

well, I didn't put a pressure on the PSU such as overclocking or a load of components , even my pc parts is not a power hungry one as below:
CPU: i5 2500
MB: Gigabyte H61M USB3
RAM: 8 GB
GPU: Gigabyte 550ti
Storage: 1 Kingstone SSD + 1 WD HHD Black
