My MSI GTX 970 SLI are starting to raise some concerns for me. I felt like my fan's in my case where running much harder than they should be at idle. Normally I never hear my fans even while doing some hardcore gaming when they should be getting worked. I downloaded Speccy which showed idle temps for 60c. This seemed really high to me. When my i7 will be relaxing around 20c - 50c max around idle. Disabling my SLI is a minor change in tempsThoughts?

Temperatures will be different for different types of components. Graphics cards tend to run hotter than CPUs while idling, search google for other people's idle temps and it should be similar to yours +- 10 degrees from cooling/case etc

sounds like an air flow issue. my single 970 barely hits 70 C while gaming, and is sitting at 28 C right now.

what case do you have and whats you fan setup? also, what climate do you live in and the ambient temp?

I just did some gaming to just to see how high it would be go and playing black ops 3 everything maxed one card hit 70 while the other card was relaxing around 60 I have a Phanteks Enthoo Pro.
