Please post your system specifications.

You don't really explained what is the issue, is it the high power draw? If it is, I think it's normal during gaming.
if you look at the picture, you can see white scratces down on the cloud, they seam to appear where the white collor is. is this normal? this is also in windows where i have msi afterburner.

Have you ever serviced the cars? Dusted and changed thermal paste? The 980ti is now old enough where a servicing of this nature would be manditory.

yes, the problem is that the photo that is showend here, was taking before i did a repaste and fresh thermal pads, just to test the card, i am at work now in a fishingboat and will be home in 12 days, i just checked photos when i was in the ship and notice this. i did test the card after fresh repaste, but sadly i did not take photos of it. the photos was more to see how much temps would go down, the card it self had very bad and dry thermal paste, here are some photo of it since i always take photos of cards when i take it apart so that i know how to put them togather.

sadly i did not take any photo after, need to see when i come home.
but the card did not have any other issiues, i playd the withcer 3 for 1 houer of testing, and i did not notice anything after the repaste, ofc i did not study my 85 inch screen to much hehe.

do you think it could have been bad thermal paste and pads cousing this problem? i need to check this when i come home :)
