980 TI non-reference: MSI Gaming 6G vs Asus DirectCU III

Hey guys, I doubt there are any actual comparisons out just yet, but based on history, which brand offers the better non-reference card in terms of performance and cooling?

With the 970/980's ASUS's card were at the bottom of the OCing tables.
Plus at release there is no ASUS's Strix atm, so you can get a MSI G6 now or wait and see.

Thanks for the headsup. Is there any ETA on msi's launch?

I'm planning to get the Strix from Asus, have a pair of the 980s now,though they wuill also have the 980TI CU model and the Poseidon model, a Matrix model may be a bit down the road, the 980 Matrix was just recently released

MSI Gaming 6g 980ti on scan.co.uk with a 23/06/2015 release date got mine preordered
