9800 Pro vs. 9800 non-Pro

Im bringing this thread back from the dead.

I need help with my haywire 9800 card. Im shoping ebay and nowadays the 9800 Pro runs about $10. LOL

Anyhow, I just want a card that will work in my PC and fix my scrambled monitor. Ebay doesnt have any reg 9800's so im wondering if I can replace it with the Pro...and will I need an install CD?

You don't need an install cd just the drivers I used the catalyst ones,
