i was just wondering wat you all thought of the 9800 pro (sapphire). I was wondering if this was the best one to get, cus i know that the 9800np the sapphire one was the best due to better memory modules. Also if theres nethin else thanks.

I'd say it's the best based on the fact that it costs the least. Supposedly it has also had pretty good (not great) overclocking success, too.

Maxtor disgraces the six letters that make Matrox.

Quality and performancewise, yes. But the fact that the Sapphire costs only $215 really can't be avoided, IMO.

Like hardwareboss said Hercules is the best but to expencive. Saphyre is a Ati recomended brand so it must mean something.. And you can get good results for OC.

P4-2800->FSB800, Asus P4P800, 512DDR-400, Radeon 9800 Pro - 128Mb

Only a fool would pass up the sapphire if they're buying a 9800p right now. The price is unbeatable.
