Probably the GT240, because the 9800GT is worse than the GTX version. But then again, the 240 is worse than the 9800GT.

in most benchmark GT240 performs closely to 9600GT. the one that faster than 9800GT is GTS240 (for OEM system only) not GT240

but i dont no why 9800gt is 256bit 1800mhz DDR3 and got 6pin power the gt240 is only 128bit 3600mhz DDR5 no 6 pin power...
than now i use the 9800gt good than gt240 or no ? but i want to know gt240 vs 9800gt in play games who win ?and who can tell if me use back 9800gt or buy new gt240 ?who can give idea?

That's my bad. I thought the GT240 would be close to the GTS250, but nVidia has retarded naming schemes.

The 9800GT IS BETTER than the GT240.

GT240 = 9600GT/GSO 96SP & GTS250 = 9800GTX+.
