980ti 2 way SLI 16x 8x combination

so basically the question is if frames will get lower if i combine a 16x with a 8x pcie socket

The gpus are 980ti and the cpu is a 4820k

There's no noticeable difference between a x16 and x8 slot so no you won't get less performance if you use a x8 slot over an x16 slot or combined.

The bandwidth of PCIE 2.0 16x isn't fully used yet, which is 8X PCIE 3.0. So no you won't see a difference.
