Ok so i've recently upgraded my cpu, and Windows 10 has actually become slower (i've upgraded from a dual core i3 to a quadcore i5) and any application will go berzerk on the HDD usage, even if the reading shows like 0.9 mb/s, and this cripples the system performance, applications will become unresponsive, and some others will just not open at all, which I find quite strange.
Here's a screenshot showing the issue happening:
And well, i've upgraded from an intel Core i3-550 to an i5-750 @2,67 ghz 3.20 ghz Turbo
The Hard drive never gave me issues, it even loads GTA V in 1 minute or less, same with Battlefield 4, Microsoft Flight Simulator X and all my games.
My whole system specs:
Intel Core i5-750 @2.67 ghz
Gigabyte GTX 750 Ti 2gb OC
1tb Seagate 3.5" (don't know the model) 64mb cache 7200rpm
8gb ram @ Dual channel
MSI MS-7613 (Iona-GL8E) Intel H57 Express Chipset
