990FX Extreme9 vs UD5

Because of all my troubles with Asus (full story: http://www.overclock.net/t/1483210/yet-another-complaint-about-asus-rma), I will likely just buy a new motherboard soon. I've got it down between the ASRock 990FX Extreme9 and the Gigabyte 990FX UD5. I will be doing mild overclocking and I currently use two graphics cards (R9 270X) in Crossfire. I'm open to other (non-Asus) suggestions as well but I want the 990FX chipset for 8+2 power phase.

my buddies son just built the extreme9 and he told me that the only thing he cant seem to get going is the usb-3 something about the drivers not installing .. but that can be with any amd board you get.. but besides from that he seems happy with it he went with a 9370 and a r9-280x card with gskill 1866 memory

I've heard that the 12+2 power phase is actually lower. I looked at the Fatality as well but it doesn't have enough SATA ports and I'd rather not use an extra SATA controller card.
