[SOLVED] 9e error

hi.
i have a B550 E rog strix i wanted to turn on tpm for the windows 11 but when i did im geting 9E error i dont know why
my cpu is amd i think i enabled somthing called ftm i dont remember the name exacly i did this to enable tmp

9E is a TPM error code. Its not in bios manual, I just seen other Asus boards with it.
fTPM = Firmware TPM. Its built into CPU.

Have you got latest bios as I know other people were getting that error message once enabling it

yes i have the latest bios i enabled fTPM

do you have a choice between ftpm & discrete as it should be on ftpm
Discrete = Actual tpm chip, you likely just have the header
ftpm = Firmware tpm.

I can see people who got 9E by enabling Discrete - https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?122241-Q-Code-9E-and-WHEA-Logger-Event-19s

but if you getting it for enabling ftpm, you might be best asking on the Asus forums as it should work.

i enabled ftpm i think my cpu is ryzen 9 5950x

Is PC working or it stops on code?

I realise it shouldn't have a code but if its not stopping PC from working, it might be fixed in a future BIOS update. It was caused by one, so its a reasonable assumption.

the pc works the 9E only displays on the board
