9m wifi or 15m ethernet?

I'm currently unhappy with my internet speeds, and I am using wifi through a few walls at about 9m distance in the next room. I'm wondering if running a 10m ethernet cable to a gigabit switch (since I have one anyway) and then a 5m ethernet cable from that would be a better option or should I just stick to the wifi and save the money? Thanks.

If it is indeed your wifi connection and not your internet connection, then yes it's worth the extra money. Plus, Ethernet cables aren't that expensive.
