I'm buying i5 9-series CPU, no K version.

Is there any motherboard 9th gen CPU ready that requires no bios update?

B360 chipsets would be up your alley and they should all come shipped with the latest BIOS on them. To add, you might want to look at Z390 chipset if you don't want to bother with BIOS updates or the fear that the B360 option might lack support.
