9volts??????

might be a silly question but im sure i read somewere it's possible to get 9 volts out of a psu by combining 2 wires somehow ??
anyone got any ideas!!!!

What are you trying to power? It might be easier to just attach a 9v battery

Yes. Grab a potentiometer from Radio Smack, and hook it across the 12v-gnd rails. Other than that, you can get 7 volts by crossing the 12 and 5 rails, and 8.7 volts from a 3.3 to 12.
