Hello everyone,
I am looking for a computer that i can stream, game and edit on. I want it to be powerful and i need some help. I know a decent amount about computers. I will be editing in1080p 60fps and gaming at 1080p and also streaming at 1080p. I may upgrade to a 4k monitor in the future so future proof would be great. So far i have looked at a gtx 1080 and either r7, r5 or 7700k. Please help me out guys!!!

Solution

Is a 1080 overkill for my needs?

Is the ryzen 5 the best choice for the price range??

You could go with the 1700 if you skip on the OS for now.

There's also Coffeelake i7 if you prefer not to overclock but it does go a little bit over budget.

I may be able to squeeze another £100 in if that makes a difference
