hi everyone, im planning to build a pc for my girlfriend (we mainly play DOTA 2 together) and my budget only allows me to spend 400$, so im leaning on AMD's A series (preferably A8 or A10) or any kind of build that you see fit, so please can someone tell me what parts to buy it would really be helpful, thanks a bunch in advance guys!

Solution
The A8's and A10's are pretty terrible for gaming, you can get an 860k for a lot less cash and it is a better CPU. Doesn't include graphics but with the money saved you could just get a low end GPU
A series doesn't leave any room for upgrades. This would be better than any A series, for your gaming.

i actually followed your advice and bought a gtx 960 2gb, but the rig only has 4gb ram( but i can just add some more next payday) THANKS MATE!

WOW this is a really great build, i'll keep your recommendation in mind. (BTW I have read that APUS perform better with more RAM, is this true?

Yes, generally that's true because it uses RAM for the video memory as well. But since you bought the Geforce 960 you won't need the 7870K anymore, you can go with the Athlon 860K instead for that build.
