Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: 1-2 Weeks time
Budget Range: $650-700 After Shipping

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Movies; Both at 1080, Music(FLAC), Encoding(FULL BD Isos to 1080/720p mkv rip.

Are you buying a monitor: No

Some parts I've chosen:

CPU: Intel core i5 3570k; @ $215 on ebay

Mobo: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007R21K9E/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?ie=UTF8&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER, this will give me space to put a TV Tuner card and decent sound card(I'm an audiophile) via PCI-E in the future, $115, I hope it's a good mobo to handle overclocking.

GPU: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007HYIDTC/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER, $205

HDD: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005T3GRN2/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER, 2TB 7200RPM 64MB Cache, $107. NO SSD Atm due to tight budget.

RAM: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004QBUL1C/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER, $45

PSU: http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-CX500-CrossFire-Certified-CP-9020047-US/dp/B0092ML0MY/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1348577283&sr=8-10&keywords=corsair+power+supply $62

Will 500W PSU suffice? Coz as I said, maybe in the coming 6 months-1year, I'll need to oc the cpu and gpu to get the most out of the newest games? Or should I go with the corsair builder 600 watts/antec earthwatts 650 w for future overclocking?

Aftermarket heatsink: not for now, will get later when the need to Overclock comes.

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Amazon.com, Ebay

Location: Mauritius

Parts Preferences: No off brands. Only good brands.

Overclocking: Yes, in the future.

SLI or Crossfire:No

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments: I'm looking forward to my first build. I would like to play all the latest games or old ones at 1080p on high/ultra with 30+ FPS. I don't intend to do SLI/Crossfire, atleast not for the 1-2 coming years. Since I'm investing a bit, I'd like to get a nice cpu and gpu that will keep me running for a minimum of 2 years w/o need of upgrading.

The total is coming to roughly $749, Any chance someone could find a similar build for less?

Thanks.

I would not use ebay or amazon for computer parts. You never know how reliable some of those vendors can be.

I would use pcpartpicker to choose the cheapest parts. It find parts from reliable pc builder sites and gives you the cheapest to the most expensive comparisons of a product.

Here is my suggestions: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/iuP6 $719. Not much cheaper, but I also chose some different parts.

The mobo looks good.
I suggested a different graphics card. The one you chose was a little more expensive, the one I chose is cheaper with no difference in performance.

You didn't give a link to RAM so I suggested some good and cheap G-SKILL 2x8 RAM. It has great reviews great reviews on newegg.

500W will be good but if you're thinking of adding on your PCI slots, OCing, etc. I found a 550W just in case.

Yes, don't OC ti'll you get a heatsink. Otherwise the stock one will be fine.
