Im using a hyperx 8gb 1866mhz stick on a mobo that supports only 1600mhz(supports 1866 if overclocked(but im not overclocking it)). I also have a kingmax 4gb 1600mhz stick that I'm not using. Would there be any issue if I place the 4gb stick with the 8gb stick? I know theyre not the same speed but since my mobo only goes up to 1600mhz if not overclocked, would the 1600mhz stick be compatible with the 1866mhz stick since my 1866 stick is already running at 1600mhz due to the motherboard?

Just to clarify, Im not asking directly if the 8gb 1866mhz stick is compatible with the 4gb 1600mhz stick in terms of speed, but Im wondering if because my mobo only goes up to 1600mhz, will the 8gb 1866mhz stick go down to 1600mhz thereby be compatible with the 4gb 1600 mhz stick since theyre both running at 1600mhz?
